Fascination

Well, it's funny - after learning why color isn't real, I decided to use it in my next drawing. Don't you just love the irony? Journal on that here - [link]

Nothing special about the title... it's just kind of how I've felt about Duran Duran (or in this case - John Taylor) after seeing them in person, not behind a screen. The memories of a concert...

I'm also not sure if it was the marathon of getting that poster done, or all the other pictures I've done along the way (probably both), but I noticed I've improved by this one. Just overall, it looks better than most of my older stuff. I also used the ref. pic as more of a guide, and adjusted the details to something I liked more. I was still going to darken the hair on the right side, but after seeing it like that... I just couldn't. The lightness just gives it more of an effect I'm sure I would ruin by darkening it.
I must have redone the nose atleast 10 times... so no complaining about it! lol
